About

I've spent ~9 years building React, React Native, and TypeScript apps — mostly across fintech, payments, and logistics. The work has been a mix: consumer-facing payments at Interswitch (Quickteller, used across multiple African countries), proptech in Lagos, voice-based social at Andela, and now central bank digital currency tooling out of Dubai.

For the last four years I've been running two senior engineering roles in parallel — frontend lead at EmTech (Dubai), where our regulatory and CBDC sandbox is used by 6+ central banks across Africa and the Caribbean; and contract lead at Fleetops (Toronto), where I'm the primary developer on their OEM onboarding product and a major contributor across the broader freight optimization platform.

Alongside the client work I ship and operate two SaaS products of my own: TokenWiser (AI spend tracking) and Dev Weekly Digest (automated engineering reporting). They keep my UI muscles current and force me to stay close to the full product loop, from billing and onboarding through to support.

A multi-tenant SaaS that gives developers and AI teams real-time visibility into API costs across OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Azure OpenAI. Provider-level dashboards, budget alerts, multi-source ingestion (manual / CSV / webhook), and a paid tier for unlimited scale.

Central Bank Digital Currency Sandbox

Regulatory and CBDC tooling for central banks.

Frontend lead on a regulatory sandbox deployed across 6+ central banks in Africa and the Caribbean. Owned end-to-end the licensing configuration system, FSP-side compliance scoring, document upload pipeline, and the data-model rewire that unblocked the platform's next major release.

Class-8 OEM Onboarding

2022 — present

Onboarding for North American truck manufacturers.

Lead engineer (~63% of commits) on the OEM and fleet onboarding product. Built the VIN-driven eligibility flow, Stripe-backed maintenance subscriptions, and partner-onboarding pipeline now live in production for major Class-8 truck OEMs.

Freight Optimization Platform

2022 — present

Load-board, broker, and freight optimization tooling.

Major contributor (~960 commits, second-largest) on Fleetops' Nx monorepo. Owned the DAT load-board API integration and the voice-AI call-transcripts feature, and shipped Playwright E2E gating in CI. Also the core maintainer of the broker dashboard since launch — real-time carrier updates via Firebase RTDB + Socket.io, mobile-responsive load search, Mixpanel-instrumented broker workflows.

Trucking compliance, on iOS and Android.

Shipped a React Native + Expo app for Hours-of-Service compliance to the App Store and Google Play. In-app subscription billing, Auth0 authentication, Datadog production monitoring, and EAS builds wired into CI.
